THE CLAW IS LIVE! IT'S ALIIIIVE!

Thank you to the old friends, new friends, and family who came out to THE CLAW premiere in New York City!! We met the lovely folks at Film Independent, enjoyed food by Ethan Stole, and director Lael Rogers had a great Q&A with Rolling Stone after the screening.

THE CLAW premieres in New York

A few months ago, All is Well shot a short film about the lead singer of a punk band having a very unusual panic attack, and now it’s premiering in the DGA Theater in New York at an event hosted by Visit Seattle, Film Independent, and Rolling Stone! This short film was a true community effort, and we are truly grateful and in awe of the people we get to work with.

If you’re in New York, we’d love to see you there!

Lael Rogers in Rolling Stone
unnamed.jpg

From the very start, All is Well has been dedicated to developing original content. We are very excited to announce that our first large scale short film will be going into production this summer and will be directed by Lael Rogers. Lael was nominated to present to the Seattle Story Award, a collaboration between Visit Seattle and Film Independent. Her treatment for a film called The Claw made it all the way to then end and took home the award.

Read her interview in Rolling Stone magazine to get the juicy deets!

The Experiments

Here at All is Well, we’re interested in stories. We’re constantly curious about how to tell these stories and what kinds of stories to tell.

Every Thursday, we come to the table with a 1-2 page script. And sometimes we shoot our favorites. We keep these videos 60 seconds or under and call them our Experiments.

We just released two new experiments today, called Part One and Part Two. If you keep scrolling, you can see the rest!

Textio "Let's Write the Future" // A Team Effort

This was a special project for us…

We had the opportunity of collaborating with Textio to combine the talents of movement masters Molly Sides and Markeith Wiley, DoP wizard Jacob Rosen, Movi Extraordinaire Sam Nuttman of MotionState, graphic design superhero Morgan Fromme, and editor Einstein Ryan Hills — and that’s not even half of the talented people involved with this piece!

This was truly a team effort of many people moving in tandem to create a piece that wove many elements together, which we think speaks well to Textio and its connection to the creative process.

The video now lives on Textio’s home page, but you can also check out the video below!
